By checking the box ‘I agree to terms & conditions’ when purchasing a product on emso.dk you agree to following:
The 3 weeks delivery time is an estimated delivery time. If the receiving end is located outside of Denmark, a longer delivery time can occur. We produce the product (being all products available on emso.dk) to order avoiding to overproduce. This can in some occasions prolong the delivery time. You can always contact us if you want to know when you can expect your parcel. If some products are out of stock, we will let you know immediately and provide you with the expected date of availability.
Purchase of products
When you have designed your own EMSO lamp(s) and added it to your shopping basket you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, shipping address, and payment information. Once you have done that and placed your order we will send you a confirmation via e-mail. Please note that this is not your final order confirmation.
When your payment is approved and your order has been registered you will receive a final email confirmation. When the order is processed you will receive an invoice. Emso.dk will not charge you for your order until it leaves our warehouse.

At emso.dk we accept payment via Paypal where you can pay with: VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, and American Express. Your payment won’t be charged to your card until your order leaves our warehouse. All prices at emso.dk are with 25% danish VAT.
It is also possible to pay via bank transfer. We will ship your order as soon as your payment is registered in our system.
emso.dk automatically collects and uses various data about you when placing an order at emso.dk.
EMSO is complying with the Danish privacy law: Persondataloven.
emso.dk collects data that gives us a statistical picture of how many visitors we have, where they come from, which pages they view, etc. This information is privileged and only used to optimise emso.dk
Terms of trade
We deliver worldwide and we ship via Postnord, GLS. All shipping charges are calculated according to the weight and size of the parcel and the delivery address. The delivery time also depends on the delivery address, as well as whether or not the product is in stock in your desired color/variant.
Special orders can increase delivery time. We will provide an estimated delivery date when you place your order, and if for some reason that date cannot be met you will be contacted as soon as possible. emso.dk is not responsible for delays or missing parcels caused by shipping companies.
Please inspect the contents of your package as soon as it arrives, before the product is assembled and installed. Make sure that you have received the correct product, undamaged, and that there is nothing missing from your order. The inspection of the product has to be done within a reasonable time (2 days) after delivery. If not emso.dk can not be held responsible for any damage.
If the parcel and/or its contents are damaged at the time of delivery, please notify your claim and providing us with both good photos and a description of the damage of both the packaging and the damaged product. emso.dk is not responsible for any damages during transport.
Købeloven (the ‘Purchase Law’ in Denmark) may apply in the case of inadequate compliance with regulations. (§8, part 1, nr. 14)
For shipments outside the EU, please be aware that your order may be delayed while clearing customs and that we are not responsible for customs-related delays. You are responsible for any customs duties or import fees.
You can return your purchase to emso.dk within 100 days of delivery.
If you want to return your purchase please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your receipt of the order that you want to return. Please note that you will not be compensated for any shipping costs.
Please remember to return the product in its original, undamaged packaging. Avoid writing on the packaging and unnecessary use of tape, and always get a shipping receipt. Incorrect packaging and packing can cause damage during transport, and that can result in us rescinding your right of return. Please send your order back to us as quickly as possible, no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you would like to make a return.

You are also responsible for the merchandise from the moment you accept delivery. If it has been installed/mounted or if there is any wear-and-tear or damage we reserve the right to refuse the return.
We will refund the amount of the purchase as soon as we have received and approved the returned product in accordance with Forbrugeraftaleloven (the ‘Consumer Contract Law’ in Denmark) §21, parts 3 & 4. We will only refund the payment method used to make the purchase in order to prevent the use of stolen credit/debit cards. In the case of a bank transfer please include all relevant account numbers, sort codes, etc. Please save your postal receipt as proof of shipment.
Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning products.

If you use a product the product depreciates and decreases in value. Emso.dk has the right to reduce the refunded amount if the product has been used beyond normally accepted usage. It is highly important that you only put in LED light sources in all EMSO lamps.
The depreciation is the difference between the original purchase price and the market price that we can charge when we resell the product after it has been returned. The market price is the product’s cost value in an ordinary retail transaction between emso.dk and a consumer, and not between emso.dk and another webshop or between two consumers.
If the condition of the product makes it unfit for resale you will lose the right to be refunded for the returned order.
Packaging can have an effect on depreciation. Opened, damaged or lost packaging can decrease the value of a product. If the condition of the packaging affects the resale of the product the cost of new packaging will be deducted from your refund.
All products sold at emso.dk are covered by Købelovens (Purchase Law) rules about the 24-month right of claim.
This right of a claim means that you can make a claim about any defects that arise within 24 months from the time of purchase. The right of claim does not apply when the defect arises because of improper use, lack of maintenance or everyday wear-and-tear. It is highly important that you only put in LED light sources in all EMSO lamps.
If you encounter a defect, missing parts, or missing deliveries please write an email to us. In the case of a valid claim, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs.
EMSO design does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions on this website, sold-out products, delivery charges made by our suppliers, or any delays beyond our control.
We reserve the right to change information, prices, and descriptions of any goods and products at any time and without notice.
We also reserve the right to refuse orders where quantity discounts and discount codes are applied together.
Discount codes and other discounts cannot be combined with already discounted products.
